Hi all,

I'm having problems finding a browser that still supports the GWT dev plugin.

Internet Explorer.
Or older versions of Firefox or Chrome (or Chromium).
You can get those from Mozilla (Firefox 26 is the latest version that still supports DevMode) or http://crportable.sourceforge.net/ (depending on OS, the latest version supporting DevMode should be 34 or 36)

Additionally I'm bit puzzled, why there isn't already a thread concerning this problem?

There are plenty of threads. There's even a pinned thread about Firefox 27+ not supporting DevMode.

So could someone give me a hint, when Chrome or Firefox will be supported again?

Never
…as far as DevMode is concerned.
The focus is on SuperDevMode, which works basically everywhere (even on mobile, even on native mobile apps' "web views" with some tricks)

Thank you very much.
And sorry if I missed the information on some documentation page. ;-)

Thanks for the reminder that we need to update gwtproject.org about this ;-)
(and rewrite all docs for SuperDevMode, but we're waiting for GWT 2.7 to be released for that)
