Newbie advise?

Hello All,

I am recent college graduate with a degree in EE and minor in CS , I
would like to contribute to GWT. I have started going through the
tutorials available for GWT. However I am a little unclear how exactly
will I start contributing to the existing projects ? Will I get to
test for bugs or write some new code.

I am sorry if I am sounding really stupid but this is the first time I
have started contributing to code outside of my class projects and so
I do not know how to get started with the software development
projects.
