Hi Thomas, thanks for the reply. 

I found that the problem is with this dependency... 

<dependency>
<groupId>org.jibx</groupId>
<artifactId>maven-jibx-plugin</artifactId>
<version>1.2.5</version>
</dependency>

And using 

<gwtSdkFirstInClasspath>true</gwtSdkFirstInClasspath>

did solve the compile error. 
But why does this happen, I only use the jibx classes on the server ?? 

I did read your suggested posts, but in my case I would like to keep the GWT in one module.I have several modules, and actually two gwt apps, wanted to keep the modules down to a minimum.
