EMF Error

Trying to get RequestFactory to work but I am getting:

Server Error: Could not initialize class myproject.com.server.domain.EMF

at the line that contains this code:

List<Country> list = em.createQuery("select c from Country c").getResultList();

Anyone have any ideas?
