How to extend the gwt designer plugin ?

Hello :)
I'm working in a project to create an eclipse plugin which extend the
gwt designer plugin.
I learned how to manipulate eclipse plugin but i don't know how to use
extension points of gwt designer
How can i do that? What are the steps to follow?
