Assuming Eclipse here, open the Debug view (it's generally enough to switch to the Debug perspective) and look for a running process and kill it.

Alternatively, you can use JConsole or JVisualVM (not sure if you can kill it there), or jps on the command-line (to get its PID and then kill it).
