I suggest the following:
1) Copy src/ + pom.xml file to another directory. (or remove the project from the eclipse and delete eclipse related files).
2) Import the project again.
Do not use mvn eclipse:eclipse, it's better to use m2e plugin. Let me know also if mvn clean package works (execute that command in console).
