Problem with history in Mozilla browser

I have problems with history items in Mozilla browser. I have a pop-up
with file loader. Selecting file cause form submit and close pop-up
window. In this moment (on form submit) Firefox add history item which
is not accessible and history back button doesn't work. If I want go
back in history I must select the last but one history item.

Simulated in Firefox 3.6.12
