Re: What is planned release date for GWT 2.8 (with lambdas) ?

An article at http://www.javaworld.com/article/2876182/java-web-development/google-web-toolkit-dumps-compatibility-for-sake-of-upgrades.html says it's should come out before April 20. Don't know where he got that date from though.

Hi everyone,

Since I was expecting lambdas to appear in 2.7, now I'm checking for GWT 2.8 release announcement daily (or sometimes more often) :)
In several days I think I'll start behaving like Cartman (in South Park) waiting for Nintendo Wii release (btw, you can watch it here) :)

So, could anyone be so kind to shed some light on approximate GWT 2.8 with lambdas release date? Will it appear before New Year? Will it appear right before GWT.create conference or after?
  Please, help me :)

Kind regards,
Yura
