How to display an empty Panel/FocusPanel?

Hi,

I want to have a FocusPanel without any content, but it should trigger some MouseFocus events.
Are there any spacer elements in GWT which I could place into the FocusPanel?

At the moment I'm just using a transparent little image that I place into the FocusPanel by:
<g:FocusPanel>
  <g:Image resource="{res.empty}" />
</g:FocusPanel>

But are there better ways?
