Tuesday, October 13th, 2020 Slow Family, We miss having live gatherings with the Slow community, so have been looking for ways to get groups together in fun and interesting ways… As one of those efforts, we are starting a mini-series of small zoom discussions. First discussion is this Wednesday: Dave Morin and Sam Lessin Everything But Politics & Pandemic (EBPP) in 2020 Wednesday, October 14th at 12:15 PST/ 3:15 EST Register here Dave and Sam will host a discussion of the biggest and most important changes we are seeing in 2020 outside of politics and covid. Join a wide-ranging discussion of the themes that matter most, leaving the politics and pandemic aside for an hour. Join the session for $10, all proceeds benefit the Human Rights Campaign Foundation (message if this is a hardship :)! On the Slow Speaker Series Slow is hosting a series of interesting conversations with founders in our network and friends in the community. These are meant to be live discussions with participants on zoom, casual, informative, and fun. Wednesday, October 28th @ 1:30p PST / 4:30p EST What? 2020 has been one of the most volatile years in recent history and especially challenging for founders to navigate. Sam will be chatting with Alexa Von Tobel, who will share her learnings from launching LearnVest during the '08 recession (through to an acquisition by Northwestern Mutual). Charity?
