debug GWT 2.7.0 with JetBrfains IDE

apologies for the old version, I'm coming back to GWT after a period of absence.
I can debug in Super Dev Mode, runing gwt:debug from a command line, the F12 in the browser to bring up Sources in Chrome. I can put breakpoints, step through, and examine local variables. But non-local variables or expressions are more difficult to evaluate. So I'd like to use the JetBrains Idea debugger.

What are my options for debugging 2.7.0 ?

As a related matter, I suspect some of my Chrome extensions could be out of date, missing or unnecesary. I have the following Chrome extensions:
- GWT Developer Plugin  1.0.11357
- GWT Super Dev button 1.2.1
- JetBrains IDE Support 2.0.9
I wonder whether I need all of these. Would debugging in Chrome work without the GWT Developer Plugin ?  And I don't even know what the Super Dev buttond does.

regards,
Andrew
