 I see on Windows, if run as web application normally within the helping of gwt developer plugin, after I run my project, then I edit my codes, just refresh the browser and everythings will change follow my code changing, it's so convenient

Super Dev Mode works the same if you use GWT 2.7 and it is equally fast on recompiles. Only the first start is slow because it has to compile your app once. Incremental recompiles are a lot faster.

GWT did not choose to disable the dev plugin. Browsers have removed required APIs so it is impossible to use the dev plugin in up-to-date FireFox & Chrome.
