Discuss GWT issue #9581

Dear GWT Developers,

I recently posted the issue #9581 on the github gwtproject:

So far, it was not verified. I think that the GWT team is currently busy with fixing Java 9 related issues.

Therefore, I would like to discuss this issue here.

Maybe somebody can verify that this is an GWT issue and not me doing something wrong.
