Re: GWT 2.8.0 RC2 is here!

We would certainly appreciate to know more about this fact (announced? published? where?).

Its just a logical consequence of GWT being open source and lots of large apps/companies depend on it. As long as people use GWT 2.8.x they will fix stuff in it if something is broken. However it also means you might need to step up yourself and provide a patch in order to have something fixed.

And because GWT is aware of it, 2.8 will either become a long living branch or the next version based around J2CL will be developed in a new repository.
