It has been communicated several times, that there is no release schedule... It will be released, when it is done...

In my opinion the GWT project's communication is very bad, almost no information is provided to the community.
We know almost nothing about the release schedule and the road map, why the release cycle is so slow, etc.
If this won't change in the very near future then more and more developers/companies will switch to other technologies - especially for new projects.

I know that it is definitely not true, but are there any updates regarding GWT release?

So, could anyone be so kind to shed some light on approximate GWT 2.8 with lambdas release date? Will it appear before New Year? Will it appear right before GWT.create conference or after? Please, help me :)Kind regards,Yura
