I know, I created the issue in the tracker :-) But still I am trying to understand why the setCapture is not working since that is normally the proper way to handle drag code.

But I also read that it breaks sorting, which is not acceptable to me. In my implementation sorting works, if only I could get the setCapture working.
Somehow it is still a shame that the core GWT team abandons adding features to the base widgets.
Sure, patches welcome I know what that means, don't bother pointing that out. I hope I ever find the time to contribute something, I would love too, but I have to do that in my spare time - which is hard to find with young kids at home.
