-- I'm working on an embedded Linux system that displays a web app on a touch LCD. As hardware resources are tight in the system I am tasked to run some tests to evaluate the impact of 2.7. Much to our surprise the test show a quite large performance hit. For example a simple test running three for loops inside each other took almost 50% longer with 2.7 then with 2.6.1.
We presume this is an issue with settings but haven't found any clear information on what to try. Any hints or links to such information would be very helpful.
