Re: Open a local file with JNSI

The HTML5 file API looks promising but is not there yet. For local file access we use Flash.

Dear all,

with help of JNSI, i'm trying to open a local file from a client GWT.
Here is my code:

open("file:///D:/www/index.htm"); // to call the native function

I tried as well open("D:/www/index.htm") or open("file:///D:\\www\
\index.htm") without success.

/* the JNSI function */
public static native void open(String file) /*-{
         $wnd.open(file);
}-*/;

I presumably did not find the right combination because it's still not
working. Have you got an idea ?
Thank you for your help.

Best Regards,
