Re: issue with tomcat server

Try a run a test and explore the memory with some tool: (visualvm, jconsole, yourtoolkit, http://www.eclipse.org/mat/ ). If you are reading from JDBC remember to use TYPE_FORWARD_ONLY in the resultset to reduce the use of memory.

You need to change how much memory java is allowed to allocate for the tomcat process. The default is rather small.
