How to get Map InfoWindow Scrollbar to show

I'm using java for a map application, and I have a rather long string to be shown in an infowindow.  The window that displays overflows and overlays the map while the infowindow is open.  I'm wondering how I can add a vertical scrollbar to the infowindow.
