Re: Can I copy an image to avoid re-requesting from url?

Maybe try asking the server for a base64 encoded image and then save
the string, and once you need to display your image you can do:
data:image/png;base64,BASE64_ENCODED_IMAGE_HERE
in the src value of an image tag.
