Hi , I am using GWT in my project and i came across this issue.. I have the container structure as below in my main html... If i try to access main directly with
, i get an error "A widget that has an existing parent widget may not be added to the detach list".. It works fine, if i try to get "container", but any child element...(all in dev mode, it works fine in production)
I don't want to add all above n code now, say with HTMLPanel (its working, if i add one by one each HTMLPanel to container)....
Now i tried another approach of using this DOM parsing and adding a node..
Please advise me on whether it will create a performance issue or any thing that i am missing.

Document.get().getElementById(GwtCnst.PANL_MAIN).appendChild(mainCanvas.getElement());Please advise me on whether it will create a performance issue or any thing that i am missing.
