None that I can think of. Basic rule of thumb--if it cannot be done in a standards compliant browser with HTML and JavaScript, it cannot be done in GWT.

It is possible to achieve the same task using JSNI but can not use JSNI.

I have tried to use image preloader but it is not working according to my needs as it first upload the image to server and then preview the image on client.
