How to handling line feed and carriage return codes in com.google.gwt.user.client.ui.TextBox

How to handling line feed and carriage return codes in com.google.gwt.user.client.ui.TextBox ?

When I press enter key it gives "
" instead of new line.Could anyone shade a light on it ? I don't want to use (KeyPressHandler) i.e com.google.gwt.event.dom.client.KeyPressHandler
