We're unable to install the GWT Eclipse plugin using the plugin's update site zip file. It fails and says a requirement cannot be found... (com.google.gdt.eclipse.suite.e42.feature.feature.group.3.8.0.v201410302155-rel-r42) requires 'org.eclipse.m2e.core 0.0.0'. We've tried running Eclipse as administrator prior to using the update site-- same result.
We've also tried installing the plugin on an Internet connected computer (which works fine on that computer), and then copying the Eclipse directory and workspace over to the disconnected computer-- this results in a bugged install. The "G" menu on the toolbar is missing entirely, and the "Google" menu in Window->Preferences is missing with "Designer" in it's place instead (which is supposed to be a sub-menu under "Google").
Does anyone successfully use GWT in an offline environment? Is GWT not meant for use in a secure/corporate intranet environment at all?
