I must be missing some piece of information then. Could you please explain to me why it works fine in Dev mode, but does not work in the compiled version? Same browser each time.

However, I believe my main problem is that when running in production mode, whatever library or database is being used in the compiled javascript does not take into account the beginning of daylight saving time, which can cause a bit of a headache when searching for items in a database and the results will be off by an hour because of the incorrect date parameter.Blame your browser then; there's no "library or database being used in the compiled javascript"; see https://gwt.googlesource.com/gwt/+/2.6.1/user/src/com/ and https://gwt.googlesource.google/gwt/core/client/JsDate. java#186 com/gwt/+/2.6.1/user/super/ com/google/gwt/emul/java/util/ Date.java#243
