[NEWBIE QUESTION] Multiple ways of styling GWT application. Which one to choose?

Hi everyone, 

I have just started with GWT and came across this dilemma. Well, I am aware of a several ways to styling the app, however I find it hard to figure out which technique I should choose, which will conform to the current standards. I thought, since I have experience in CSS and HTML, I could do all the styling in *.css files, but is it how GWT wants me to do it? I am just looking to pros and cons of the methods of styling.
