How to check server log ?

Hello, I am Koran and I develop web program by GWT.
It's so very hard to use GWT.
Now , I use ibatis . ibatis log is correct.
But, client program issue a error like this...

------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
500 the call failed on the server.see server log for details.
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Could you tell me how to check the server log?
I don't know where it is.
