You have an ORB running on every client? Wow! Discussing HTML5 and AngularJS and CORBA in the same paragraph seems pretty anachronistic. 

If the ORB is actually running on the server and you had an applet accessing it, you'd probably be best off wrapping it on the server with some http service callable with XHR.
