Re: How to use Servlet 3.0 annotations with GWT?

You can run DevMode using -noserver and provide your own Jetty8/9 server.

There was already a commit for GWT 2.7 to make annotations work with the embedded Jetty provided by GWT but it has been reverted because of ASM library version mismatches.

The reverted commit: https://gwt.googlesource.com/gwt/+/a93d459c77c6f6b5a4ee3d82bfd479bf0f2b4c80
