GWT, Eclipse and m2e

Hi,

Two years ago when I started working with GWT, I tried to use Eclipse and M2E on my projects but M2E was regularly launching full builds of the application which froze Eclipse for long periods.
At this moment I've found Daniel Kurska's article (http://blog.daniel-kurka.de/2011/11/how-to-mavenize-your-eclipse-projects.html) describing how mavenize GWT project in Eclipse without using M2E.
Daniel's method is really good and work like a charm and I've used it with success on several projects.

However, when I start explaining GWT to my colleagues, as of I say that they must desactivate M2E on their project they're quite surprised.
Hence, I wonder if, two years later, M2E and GWT are still unfriendly or if all the problems have been solved with all the newest version of M2E, Eclipse, GPE,...

Does someone has a good documented recipe to use Eclipse/GPE/M2E/Maven/GWT in a standard/integrated way ?

Thanks in advance

François

(GWT 2.7 is just great !)
