We just override the method onAfterResponseSerialized from RemoteServiceServlet in the RPC services implementation and this fixes this issue:
@Override
protected void onAfterResponseSerialized(String serializedResponse) {
HttpServletResponse response = getThreadLocalResponse();
response.setDateHeader("Expires", 0L); // always expired
response.setHeader("Cache-Control", "no-cache");
}
