The marker arrow is actually 24 images (one for each rotation set on
15 degree increments). I named them like boat-0.png, boat-15.png, ...,
boat-345.png and put them in a single folder. Then, I take the heading
(from the position report) and calculate the nearest 15 degree
increment to build the image name for the marker. I had looked high
and low for a way to just rotate the image and couldn't find one, so
that's how I solved it.
The Slider came from the GWT incubator. I copied the specific
class(es) I wanted (I think it was called SliderBar) so I wouldn't
have to include the entire jar. So, the slider is a single component,
but I did change the CSS a bit to make it look nicer and fit better
with my UI.
