I also debugged and have an idea why it's not working ;)
This will be the first issue i will open, but if you can tell me where i can do this... no problem :)

From the stacktrace above and a few minutes reading the code, I think I identified the problem.

Could you please open an issue so we don't forget about it? (maybe we could even ship the fix in 2.6.1)
