Greetings,
-- I develop with GWT (& Sencha GXT) with Intellij 13 on a Mac. Works great. I've recently discovered some significant rendering problems with various versions of IE. I would like to run my app through the IDE (in debug or non-debug mode) but be able to access the app from the Windows machine (on the same local net).
I know I can deploy the app to tomcat or Glassfish and be able to test just fine. But this development cycle is very lengthy. I'm already running some sort of server when testing. The IDE starts Chrome and it works fine. I just need to access that environment from my Windows box.
I tried turning off the firewalls on both machines.
Intellij starts a session (debug or run) with the following URL on Chrome:
The following URL's do not work on Safari on the same machine:
Of course trying the URL used in Chrome because there is no GWT plugin on Safari.
On the Windows box I just get "This page can't be displayed".
Being able to access the application when running through the development environment would make things a lot easier.
I appreciate any help.
