You're probably using the gwt-codeserver.jar from GWT 2.5.1 against a gwt-dev.jar from GWT 2.6.0-rc1.

When using GWT 2.5.1 I get:

Beforehand under Windows 7 I had no problem with Super Dev Mode. Under Windows 8 I can't get it to work.

Any ideas/hints?
