Clickable labels inside a FocusPanel

I programmatically add some Label widgets to a FlowPanel that is inside a FocusPanel. I've registered a ClickHandler with the FocusPanel and with the labels. The task is to start an action if a label is clicked and another (default) action if outside the labels somewhere in the FocusPanel is clicked. But it seems that I can't click on the labels - always the default action from the FocusPanel starts twice. The event source is always the FocusPanel. Is there a way to prevent that the FocusPanel 'steels' the click events from the labels?
