IncompatibleRemoteServiceException after new deployment

Hi,

when I build and deploy a new war file of my application to my tomcat server, users get server errors like this:

"com.google.gwt.user.client.rpc.IncompatibleRemoteServiceException: Type myType was not assignable to com.google.gwt.user.client.rpc.isSerializable and did not have a custom field serializer."

This happens even if I did not make changes to the corresponding type.

Then, I always have to advice the users to make a browser reload.

Can I avoid this? Can you give a practical example?
