I'm looking for a quick and simple tutorial for using GWT to make elements on a page draggable and connectable. Specifically something that might match this: http://alloyui.com/examples/diagram-builder/
I'm pretty new to Java and using an IDE like Eclipse, so the environment is a bit foreign to me. I can already implement the linked solution but my employer wants me to investigate other options such as Cappuchino, Sprout Core and Google Web Toolkit. My time frame is pretty short, I've already spent a few days learning the basics and going through the tutorials for GWT but haven't found myself anywhere near being able to implement a demo for the proposed capability.
Alot of what I've read and reviewed tells me that this functionality might not be readily available, especially with the requirement of IE 8 support. Any suggestions, links and pointers otherwise are appreciated.
