No time is shown in Column

DateCell dateCell = new DateCell();
Column<Log, Date> dateColumn = new Column<Log, Date>(dateCell){
public Date getValue(Log log){
return log.getLog_dtm();
}
};

the return type is java.util.Date, but when output is UI, only date
portion is shown, what is the reason?
