Re: widget has padding but getPadding returns nothing?

I believe 

getElement().getStyle().getPadding() will only get inline styles, not ones from stylesheets. 

As far as the answer to your question, I'd like to know myself. That would be very useful to know how to get the padding etc of a widget.
