From the GWT documentation, I see two different ways to embed the GWT application:
1) Within the head element:
<head>
<script language="javascript" src="calendar/calendar.nocache.js"></script>
</head>
2) Within the body element:
<body>
<script language="javascript" src="calendar/calendar.nocache.js"></script>
