Newbie Question

Hi

I recently created a GWT starter application, which contains 3 modules, client, server and shared. It was a simple app with a greeting service, built using the gwt-maven-plugin. All went well, but then when I tried to incorporate mvp, using views and activities, it made me change the the shared module into a gwt module. At least that's the only way it would build. I also want to incorporate GIN, and providers in further modules.

Does anyone know why I had to use a GWT module. And what's the best source of info for my learning curve please.

Many Thanks

Andy
