Reducing the CPU utilization on the IE browser

Hi,

I our project we are expirencing high CPU utilizations on I.E6.0
Browser. At times during RPC calls CPU utilization stays at 100%. Its
stays at that number for few seconds till the page is rendered. We are
using GWT 2.0.3.

Can you please provide some tips/best practices that can be coded to
reduce CPU utilization on the browser?
